The New Oris Divers Sixty-Five Chronograph 40mm in Ocean Green
A stylish reminder that fresh colour can keep a classic looking sharp, decade after decade.
Oris’ beloved Divers Sixty-Five series has been charming fans of laid-back, vintage-inspired dive watches for over a decade now. First revived in 2015 to celebrate the Hölstein-based brand’s iconic 1965 dive watch, this collection has since grown into a full family of neo-retro divers and sporty daily wearers, always blending mid-century charm with modern mechanics. Alongside classic three-handers and time and date references, bronze-cases and playful dial colours, Oris has also introduced a chronograph to the Divers Sixty-Five line, pairing nostalgic design with added capability. The latest to surface is the suave new Divers Sixty-Five Chronograph, dressed up in an elegant combination of Ocean Green and silver-grey.
The 100m water-resistant stainless steel case measures 40mm in diameter and is 15.40mm thick, with a lug-to-lug span of 48 mm. It features a unidirectional rotating bezel sporting a deep green aluminium insert. The hue is drawn from nature: choose which one you prefer – ocean depths or forest hillsides near Oris’ historical factory. The case is topped with the gently domed sapphire crystal, and the screwed caseback is solid. Vintage pump-style pushers flank the screw-in fluted crown.
The dial pairs a soft sunray silver-grey base with contrasting dark green sub-dials for running seconds and a 30-minute counter. Applied indices and hands are filled with Super-LumiNova for legibility after dark; the index at 12 o’clock keeps its shield shape. The Divers Sixty-Five Chronograph is powered by the Oris calibre 771 (Sellita SW510), a modern automatic chronograph movement delivering a 62-hour power reserve. It beats at 28,800 vibrations/hour and has a stop-seconds function for precise setting.
Oris offers this new Divers Sixty-Five Chronograph on a black Cervo Volante deer leather strap, sustainably sourced, with a classic steel pin buckle, or on a stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp for a sportier feel. Available from July 2025, the Oris Divers Sixty-Five Chronograph Ocean Green is priced at CHF?4,000 on a leather strap or CHF 4,200 on the bracelet.

15.4 thick, its a shame for a watch maker like Oris.
On paper, 15,4mm sounds thick, but it’s well disguised. The case side is quite thin, with both the caseback and bezel making up most of the measurable height. Of course you might bang it up more than a 10mm thick watch, but the feeling on the wrist is neat.
