The New Hamilton Jazzmaster Skeleton 40mm in Empire Green

The Jazzmaster collection, and specifically the Skeleton editions, has earned its place as one of Hamilton‘s distinctive designs, offering a view into the beating heart of a modern automatic movement. It’s a design that balances Hamilton’s classic dress-watch DNA with a contemporary twist. Over the years, the model has appeared in several dial colours, case sizes, and strap combinations. Following earlier expansions in 36mm and 40mm sizes, and colourways ranging from plum and pink to blue and white, Hamilton now introduces a new variant, the Jazzmaster Skeleton 40mm in Empire Green. 

Presented in stainless steel with a comfortable 40mm diameter and 11.05mm thickness, the new Hamilton Jazzmaster Skeleton retains the proportions and sculpted lugs that have defined the series. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the dial, and a transparent caseback provides another perspective on the movement inside. Water resistance is 50m, keeping the piece versatile enough for everyday wear.

The new Empire Green dial boasts rich and saturated colour, which intensifies the play of light across the cutouts, revealing the running gear, barrel, and balance wheel of the movement beneath. Applied nickel-plated indices and nickel hands with Super-LumiNova offer good legibility against the dark green backdrop.

The Hamilton H-10-S calibre, a skeletonised version of the Powermatic 80, powers the watch. Operating at 21,600 vibrations/hour, it is built with 25 jewels, offers 80-hour autonomy, and uses a Nivachron balance spring. 

The Jazzmaster Skeleton 40mm in Empire Green comes with a choice of straps: a brown leather strap with a pin buckle or a stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp. Available from September 2025 as part of the permanent collection, the watch is priced at CHF 1,195 or EUR 1,375 on leather strap and CHF 1,275 or EUR 1,445 on steel bracelet.
